Today (12/21/11) I calledfrantically to Rim Guard explaining that I had scrapped my front alloy rims andwas hoping to get them fixed before my husband had a chance to see that thishad happened. I spoke with Wade whokindly calmed me down and told me that he would be able to help me out beforemy husband got home from work. Sure enough, I received a call from Adam whotold me he would be at my house in 18 minutes. Within a couple of hours my rimslooked like new! Adam was awesome and I couldn't thank him enough for not onlygetting this all done in a timely manner (before my husband got home) but hewas professional and the finished product looked like new rims...which by theway when I priced them were $785.00 each. Special thanks to John in the New Bern-Greenville area for his professionalism and customer service. I became a Rimguard Xtreme believer this winter after my rim was severely damaged thanks to an icy surface on a bridge. When my wife dropped the wheel and tire off at a local tire retailer for John to pick up the tire service people there told her to take it back that Rimguard would not be able to fix it. She called me to report what they had told her, and I told her to leave it and let John with Rimguard Xtreme make that determination. A week later John was calling me to say my rim was restored and ready. I am probably the most picky truck owner one would meet, and can't bare any damage or imperfections on my vehicle. I try to keep it in top shape regardless that it is a "truck".

True chrome plating requires several steps. The options would be a customer who currently has painted, machined, or polished wheels and would like to get them plated. The plating process continues with a chemical etching, Copper plating, buffing, bright nickel application, chrome solution, and final rinse. This process can take several days to complete.

First a primer powder coat is applied.
