Special thanks to John in the New Bern-Greenville area for his professionalism and customer service.  I became a Rimguard Xtreme believer this winter after my rim was severely damaged thanks to an icy surface on a bridge.  When my wife dropped the wheel and tire off at a local tire retailer for John to pick up the tire service people there told her to take it back that Rimguard would not be able to fix it. She called me to report what they had told her, and I told her to leave it and let John with Rimguard Xtreme make that determination. A week later John was calling me to say my rim was restored and ready.  The results far exceeded my expectations and I considered the price a value because I had already begun pricing newer rims with the thought that Rimguard wouldn’t be able to repair the 35-40 mph impact my rim took as it slid into the concrete curb of the bridge.

I just wanted to make sure Josh got the props he deserved for fixing my wheel's curb damage on January 13th 2011.

I am probably the most picky truck owner one would meet, and can't bare any damage or imperfections on my vehicle. I try to keep it in top shape regardless that it is a "truck". 

The day I bumped a curb, for the first time, I was livid! I thought "well, there goes $700 for a new wheel for my Silverado. I thought nothing else would suffice. I Googled "polished wheel repair" and Rim Guard X Treme came up.

Long story short, I was amazed at what Josh Elliott was able to do. When he was done he tried to show me where the damage was prior to his work, and I couldn't even tell!  I literally was amazed.

True chrome plating requires several steps. The options would be a customer who currently has painted, machined, or polished wheels and would like to get them plated. The plating process continues with a chemical etching, Copper plating, buffing, bright nickel application, chrome solution, and final rinse. This process can take several days to complete.

• First a primer powder coat is applied.
